Mauser m96 stock
Urgent question. Can a Mauser M96 stock be use with a Gew 98 receiver and barrel?
I bid on this stock in ebay and i think that im going to get it.

No. GEW 98 is a large ring. It is larger and longer for the mounting screws, trigger and mag well. Nothing will line up.

Yes. The one that my rifle have has been sporterize (sp). I'm trying to make it look more original. Im looking one cheap. Even if is not so good conditions. I will probably refinish it any way

I will check with them. One more question. My rifle have a short barrel more of the length of the K98 according to the specs that i found. Do the k98 stock will work for it? I'm kind of pulling my hair with this rifle. Thanks for the information.
