Default Mauser 1914 history and mags?

My grandpa has an old Mauser 1914 he got awhile back and its in almost flawless condition from what I could tell. I took it to the range and shot it a month or so ago and it was jamming, I looked at the mag and it seems like there's a dent by the feed lips. Where can I get a new magazine for the least amount of money? (All the ones I saw were 100$, I want to get him one as a gift.) Also can someone give me the history on it? My grandpa told me the basic history but I would like to know more and he wants to know if he should run it dry or wet. Its the .32acp btw
Thanks. I would provide pictures but he lives across the country.
