Default M2 Carbine Principles of Operation VIDEO

Here's another old chestnut, a really well done introduction to the principles of operation of the M2 Carbine, the select fire version of the venerable M1 Carbine of WWII fame.

I carried one of those for awhile. I was cool, with a thirty round magazine loaded, two fifteen round magazines in a pouch on the stock, and two more in a pouch on my pistol belt.

Those things went throught some ammo in a hurry!

Had two in Vietnam. One had an airborne stock, the other a standard issue wooden stock. If I'd known how easily I was gonna slide thru Customs, I'd still have them.
