the MM add is true to a certain extent.mainly surplus german guns reworked to MM spec not authentic atms.garand tankers are not tankers theytested some short garands for the pacific jungle, not for tanks.I have one.not made by gov but federal arms.its in 308 and has mag.[BM 59 mag.]
and Boris is right Mauser 96 and lugers.+mp 38/40 whatever.try getting out of a tank with a rifle.I got mine from a german tanker who was a friend in Mass. he was on the russian front.

Hi there, I figured with all this talk on Mitchell's gun I'd show you mine.

Brno-turned into an "izzy" (see all the yiddish hall marks) rebored into 7.62 NATO. unknown vintage. Its got the kriegsmodel feel for it, no take down disk, no cleaning rod, but its got a curious feature and that is the barrel appears to be a good 2-3 inches or so shorter than an average K-98. It could be a Brno Vz24 but I've never seen one with a turned down bolt before or "shortened"

Could MM legally chop a couple inches off of a K98 and call it a tanker carbine?

good looking rifle you got there.

I think that the europen countries might have won a war or two if they didn't spend all their time making stamps for marking firearms.
