Any advice on where to find a good deal on magazines and spare parts? Any suggestions on which spare parts to go ahead and order (i hear the firing pins aren't hard to damage)?
Any advice, commentary, suggestions?
I will have to get pics up Sunday, as my camera is de-charged.
Any advice on the surplus ammo in the big cheap sardine cans (preferred origin, current good deals, cleaing requirements, etc.) ?
The decocker doesn't seem to be decocking, but i have heard that is iffy, safety-wise anyway. Really stiff safety lever.
Oh, $250 to a nice old guy whose primary business was selling/making knives.

Just beware of some old milsurp ammo, I bought a bunch and it takes usually 2 strikes to get it to fire, extremely hard primers!!! Can't remember origin of ammo tho"

Since no discussion of any firearm is any good without pictures, here's one of mine.

Picked up one of these about a week ago for $100.
Great little shooter, glad I bought tons of ammo when I built that semi auto PPS 43 last summer.

I have one as well. Bought it in the early 90's when I was a dealer. At that time we were selling them for about $70. I have thousands of round thru mine and it still shoots great. Like all surplus ammo, make sure you clean it good when done shooting.

I too, bought the "hot" MG ammo. It will eject the brass about 30 feet, and hits with force. I am pulling the bullets and dumping the powder and filling with a normal pressue load of Unique. That is a hassel, but well worth it. I'm kind of afraid of the MG ammo, it seem WAY too hot. But it was cheap.

do not trust the safety
do not drop the pistol with a round in the chamber.
I sold the two I owned and now have five tokarevs...much nicer in my little humble opinion
