i'm looking for a butstock & forstock complete for a j. stevens dbl brl 12 gage and would like to know if this gun could have a damascus brl. i think it was produced in 1958. maybe a butstock from another dbl might fit with a little affort.

If it was made in 1958, it is not damascus. You might check Numerich Gunparts corp, SARCO, Jack First Gun Shop [Rapid City, SD] and Dixie Gunworks for the parts you need. Try Googling each for information on web pages, phone numbers etc. Hope this helps.
