I recently purchased a Remington 12C. I have never owned a .22 pump rifle, but have desired one since shooting them at carnivals and fairs a few years back. I would like to know the approximate manufacture date. It does not have the identifying manufacture code on the barrel so I think that it is pre 1930. It has RW above the serial number on the receiver. The serial number is 461XXX. Thanks for any help.
