Just an update. Still no license and still no word. It's a couple of months or so now.

Call the BATF and find out what's holding your license up. Should not take this long. If there had been a problem processing your application, you wold have heard something long before now.

I just called ATF. I was told that my C&R is still pending and that it takes sixty to ninety days. I guess I should have it later this month.

With all the folks applying for various gun licenses with BATF since Obama became Prez, it's no surprise that the waiting time has gone up a wee bit

A lot depends on the person assigned to process the applications from your state. Some folks do a better job of keeping up with their workload than others. I received my license 13 days after dropping the first application in the mail.
