Hello....can somebody tell me what Type of Rifle this is....thanks in advance

Not Enfield, but a version of the Mosin-Nagant.

Looks like it's a Moisin Nagant M44.

The 1948 date rules out WW2. If the bayonet is mounted on a hinge, it would be an M44. If the bayonet slips over the barrel, it would be a 91/30. I am not sure when the last 91/30s were made in Russia, but the gun was made well after WW2 in other countries.

Sooo close! The later would not be a 91/30, but an M38 or M56. That is an Izhevsk M44. Since no M38's were made there, it was pretty simple.

The 1948 M44 is a very low number produced rifle. Do some research on it. It's worth a more than the run of the mill M44.

Good news. It uses 7.62 54r ammo. You won't find It at Walmart but most gun stores will carry it for 14 to 18 a box new

Ammo? Buy the 440 round tin can for about $100.
