Pics and an approxiamate serial number would help. Not all parts interchange and its based off model which can be determined by date from the serial number.

M72LAW, You need to swing on over to the " Civilian Marksmanship Program " also known as the "CMP" and you will get all the info you need on your 1903 rifle. When you get to the web site click on "Communications" and then on the left hand side of the screen click on "Forums". They have a treasure trove of info there and good knowledgable people. MC

Higher number 03A, that hopefully hasn't been metal altered. Rear sights original should slide on a dovetail base toward the rear of the receiver. If drilled and tapped for either a scope or aftermarket sights, it will be difficult to restore to it's original condition with extra screw holes that would be present. With no pictures, second guessing what you have

im still waiting on this rifle...

i sent postal money order to the seller last week...anticipation begins

i purchased a 1903A3 stock & handgaurd off gunbroker...has a lil crack on the side but an easy fix.yay 42bucks shipped...im not complaining

this rifle has a williams rear peep sight,...i found all parts to get it back to as org. as close as i want to spend...when all is said & done,i hope to have as close to original 1903 w/out rear leaf sight shooter as possible...i dont care about collectors value,i have always wanted a 1903 springer type rifle...& now for less then 250bucks i'll have a 1903remington wannabe clone springer shooter rifle
