Pics and an approxiamate serial number would help. Not all parts interchange and its based off model which can be determined by date from the serial number. __________________ "Gun control: The theory that a woman found dead in an alley, raped and strangled with her panty hose, is somehow morally superior to a woman explaining to police how her attacker got that fatal bullet wound." — L. M72LAW, You need to swing on over to the " Civilian Marksmanship Program " also known as the "CMP" and you will get all the info you need on your 1903 rifle. When you get to the web site click on "Communications" and then on the left hand side of the screen click on "Forums". They have a treasure trove of info there and good knowledgable people. MC |

Higher number 03A, that hopefully hasn't been metal altered. Rear sights original should slide on a dovetail base toward the rear of the receiver. If drilled and tapped for either a scope or aftermarket sights, it will be difficult to restore to it's original condition with extra screw holes that would be present. With no pictures, second guessing what you have |
