There are many things that make a Swede worth 150.00 or 450.00. Is it all matching?, What is the stamp on the front sight, it looks to be a higher than normal +3.50 Maybe? If the rifle is matching, what does the disk say? Pics would help. Bore condition? Pitting?

The disk shows the bore is in excellent condition. The matching part are the serial numbers. The serial number is on the left side of the receiver. The floor plate, butt plate, bolt, safety, bands, all numbered parts should match. Small parts will have the last 2 or 3 digits of the serial number. If the numbers don't match, it brings the value down. She looks to be in very nice shape. If she is all matching, $400.00..450.00. You will have to remove the action and check the barrel channel, as the stock is also numbered to the receiver. The downside of selling it at a gun show is you will never get what it is worth. You are better of putting it in the classified section here or on another gun forum. Miss matched, depending on what parts, $350.00+-

I bought the same Husqvarna rifle 15 yrs ago at a gun show from a dealer who had several for $269. They are almost impossible to find nowadays. The bore condition was the same as yours. It is a tack driver and came with a threaded muzzle and muzzle cap, a training device to shoot wooden bullets, a cleaning rod extension and a detacheable flash suppressor. Foolishly I had it sporterized. Yours should fetch a minimum of $350 in the condition it is in. The 6.5 x 55mm cartridge has one of the highest ballistic coefficients of all cartridges from the .270 up through the .30 cal range. They are used to take Moose in teh Scandinavian countries. I would keep it!

Thanks man for the info. 325 to 350 was what I was thinking but your idea of keeping it as it is getting harder to find makes a lot of sense. I was going to try and sell it at the next gun show and buy more Mosins or a 5.45 x 39 (as I see the ammo is really cheap) but I may just hang on to it. Once again thanks for your knowledge on this!
