Default A.H.Fox SterlingWorth 12gauge

Hey all, looking for abit of info. I'm looking for some info for a friend of mine about this shotgun. It is a A.H.FOX SterlingWorth 12 gauge, Serial # 59241. When you break the gun, stamped on steel part just before the hinge there are a bunch of different months and dates. These range from 1904 to 1906 or so. Anybody seen or heard of one of these guns? Any info provided would be welcomed. Thx in advance.

Don

They are very collectible shotguns. Some can be quite valuable. Post some very good close-up photos of all parts of the shotgun with all markings and I should be able to help you. Or, take it to a reputable gunsmith who is very familiar with the Foxys and have it evaluated. It will be money well spent...Check out the above mentioned web sit also..............
