Default Gunshow Purchase

My son and I went to the gun show this morning in Macon. I knew what I was going for and was not disappointed to find that the fella that had been at the last show was back again with the Mark VI he said he "might" bring to the next show. As soon as a saw it, I bought it and here it is. Shaved to accept .45 ACP or .45 Auto Rim (purchased 100 rds of that as well).. It truely IS as nice as it looks in the photos. All the finish is there with little wear on the grips.

Default There is one slight issue with this firearm

The ONLY thing that I could see wrong with this firearm is that someone replaced (or maybe had to add) a makeshift lanyard ring. It is missing the original stud and ring.. Apex and Numrich do not carry these.. Any ideas??

That is one sweet looking shooten iron!!! Would you mind telling me an average price for one of these so I do not get taken. I plan on getting one as soon as I can find one.

is it a SAO? SA/DA?

Wont it need half moon clips for the ammo?

I paid $400 for this one which is about $250 less than what I've seen them going for in auctions and the blue book of gun values.

This is a SA/DA firearm and is not in the .455 caliber. It will shoot .45 ACP with moon clips or .45 autorim without the need for moon clips..

old man,

fantastic! i've had an itch for one of these for a long while. if i found an original, i'd reload for it as is, but as a shooter, i'd actually prefer something like yours...got lots of auto-rim loaded in case i find one.

for now, i have to be satisfied with an enfiled and webley in .38/200.
