can anyone tell me how to use a flip up sight on a mauser type gun. it is bolt action, has a straight bolt, and says carl gustaps stads- gevarsfaktori 1917 above the bolt. if anyone can help me i would appreciate it.

there should be a notch on the sight when its down.that is battle sight probably 300 to 500 yrds.flip sight up and the slide adjust for range in meters.
