Actually I got it for less than 1K  It's a Correct grade SA from CMP. All I had to do was clean out the cosmoline.

I already learned from cleaning my SKS, clean it till there's no more cosmoline and then clean it again! This time I threw everything but the barrel in a baking pan in the oven until the cosmo was dripping off everything, then I used Shooter's Choice Foaming Bore Cleaner on everything and let it soak. Then I blasted everything down with Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber. I only had to scrub a few areas. __________________

Not yet. I just got an email from CMP; ammo on sale
