DefaultFinally! New M1 Grand...No it's not a misspell!

Actually I got it for less than 1K It's a Correct grade SA from CMP. All I had to do was clean out the cosmoline.

I Just Bought One From My Grandfather For $250 It Is A Great Rifle
I Am Working On Bringing It Back To Original Gi Specs Now
It Has Some Mismatched Parts In It Now But Its Still One Hell Of A Good Shooter:d

Good purchase! Now all you need to do is clean the cosmo again, and again, and again, and again....

I already learned from cleaning my SKS, clean it till there's no more cosmoline and then clean it again! This time I threw everything but the barrel in a baking pan in the oven until the cosmo was dripping off everything, then I used Shooter's Choice Foaming Bore Cleaner on everything and let it soak. Then I blasted everything down with Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber. I only had to scrub a few areas.

Not yet. I just got an email from CMP; ammo on sale
I just shot it for the first time today!: I shot Federal Power-Shoks. WOW! I love this gun!
