With your C&R you could pick one up at a LGS or gun show in a state next door... but would you have to get the 10 round mags or could you keep the 12 rounders?

I believe I read that C&R handguns didn't fall under the 10 round rule but most places won't send them to us without 10 round mags. I plan on looking everytime I go out of state. The Mak is a great gun hope you enjoy the hell out of it.

The ATF received my application on Monday 9/24. My card was charged the $30 application fee today 9/28! Is this common or have they already started the process?

Same scenario as with mine they are quick to get their money. But it lets you known they are working on your application.

Thanks guys. That's pretty much what I figured. It did seem like it was pretty quick though.

I'm going to start the paperwork today for my C&R license. But I have some questions. Did having this license will help you on back ground check and waiting period if you are buying a non-C&R gun in my LGS? Where can I see a sample of what the acquired-dispose log look like? Do the C&R classification of a gun is documented with the gun or that classification is an assumption from the seller? For example if I'm going to buy a Mosin Nagant from my LGS should I assume that the gun is a C&R or the seller may say the the gun is not classified and that the back ground check and waiting period apply? (In FL there is no waiting period for rifles but this is just an example)
