If I would have had my glasses on straight I would have seen where you said "withdrawing", stupid me.
I hope all works out for you.

What state are you in? I am in TN. Can anyone chime in with their experiences of how the LGS's in TN and KY operate? One of the closest LGS to me is Guns and Leather in Greenbrier, TN.

Technically, you ARE an FFL-03, which is a Federal Firearms Licensee...type #03
and since Federal Laws outweigh State Laws...per the Civil War...
Print out the C&R FFL regs, and memorize them, then carry a copy with you so you can show the folks who don't know how it works.

Well it took a little while, but finally made my first purchase on my license. Just ordered a Chinese Mosin Carbine. I'll post picks once I get it and of coarse a range report will follow shortly after that.

Nice! For $119 these seem like a great deal for a rifle.

I believe it's the same as a m44 just Chinese markings love the 91-30 but I have access to one and really have been looking for a carbine can't seem to find a M44 and if you do it's much higher in price so I go with the type 53
