Bound book records
I orded a new bound book from RK Enterprises it came with a Personal Firearms book.Is it required that it be logged with your personal (not bought with license) guns, paw paws old shotguns etc.If so is it to be inspected also?
|
Personal firearms records are great for keeping track of your purchases and serial numbers in case of theft.
You are not required to maintain all your records, just what you acquire and dispose of through your C&R. If you didn't buy it using your license, you don't have to list selling it or even have in your bb.... |
Scott nailed it. It is the record of arms you acquired and disposed of under your license- ONLY.
M1 carbine purchased from a dealer 3 states away, and I sent him a copy of my C&R- goes in da book. M1 carbine I bought at the flea market down the road- face-to-face, no license copy given- NOT in da book. M1 carbine I bought before I got my C&R- NOT in da book. M1 carbine that Dad gave me last Christmas- NOT in da book. (Now what the hell am I gonna do with all the M1 carbines???) |
Send one to me because you like me so much. :)
