Two in a couple of weeks shows that you are in serious danger of becomin a Mosinaholic. Stop now, before it is too late. Give these two away to keep the object of your disease out of sight. There are ten step programs to help you. I will be happy to take these off your hands, and I will not charge you a disposal fee.

If you decide to be weak and keep the damn things, look at the M-1938s. These are really neat rifles. The M-1891s are also very cool, as are the M-44s. If you like the M-44s there is also the T-53.

These rifles will almost certainly increase in value over the years. Buy them while they are cheap.

Be very choosy with M44s and T53s. Most were manufactured postwar,

if you're going to get a crappy one, only pay what it's worth, like

75$ or so.

There are a lot of really nice ones, some in new to mint

condition. So if you're going to pay top dollar-250$ & up,

be sure to insist on a clean rifle, complete with all the

"tactical" accessories:

cleaning rod

cleaning kit

alignment tool

(new) sling

metal oil/solvent bottle

belted ammo pouches.

Almost bought one this weekend, I saw it at a flea market. It was a 1915 Westinghouse. My friend is building his collection, I told him a little history of the gun, and if he didn't buy it I would. He said he was going to think about it, then my response was its mine, then. He got it for 135$.
