Default Books?

Would appreciate any input into finding good books to help improve my knowledge of C&R weapons, what is collectable and what is not, what to look for in deciding what to buy or not (although $$ is a big deciding factor) . I would rather buy shooters rather than hangers. Thanks in advance.

Not a book but Surplusrifle.com has a lot of information on C&R firearms.
