Default Bonnie and Clyde's Tommy Gun available!!

Did y'all see this?

Bonnie and Clyde's guns up for auction

And here's the actual auction.

Two police officers died in the shootout so that makes it lose a little lustre for me, but this is still pretty cool. I could imagine a bunch of collectors really ponying up the cash for these!

Default Bonnie and Clyde contest

Let's start a contest guess the winning bid. I'll start.

$525,000 if it is truly certified.

1 mill for the starting bid.

Keep one and give one to me, what else?

Winning bid of $98,000 for the two is my prediction. Don't y'all know we're in a downturn? Or as Obama calls it...a recovery?

By the way, that shotgun action is really cool. It is a pump-actuated lever-action-type bolt.

if i was to buy a thompson it would be a functioning shooter, not an expensive collectable that sits on the shelf.

there is a gun range in Eugene oregon that will let you shoot two 25 round mags out of a full auto thompson (i think it's called The Baron's
Den) for about 40 bucks. funnest 20 seconds of shooting i ever did.

I went shooting with a former member here, Hunter Joe. He put a Thompson in my hands and stood back and watched the fun. It was the highlight of my shooting so far. I will NEVER forget that day.
