Yes you can load with a stripper, that is the easy way.
Loading single rounds thru the top is OK, more difficult. The 7.63 X 25 stuff is Ok. The 7.62 X 25 can be risky as you know. This ammo is sometimes Sub-Gun ammo and runs pressures 20% above "Tok" ammo.
I have had some 7.62 X 25 do some scary things in a C-96. I just purchased 2,500 rounds of Sub-Gun for my CZ-52. I reload for the C-96 "Brooms". The C-96 pistols were popular "Cowboy" guns around the turn of the 19th century. The SBR rules of 1935 discouraged ownership of these fine Mausers.
