I have several of
them. They are good rifles and I consider them to be superior to the German rifles. I would check the head space before firing.

I have been trying to look for a headspace guage but have not found one, it is hard to search all the sites on my Droid. Anyone know where to get one.

Here are a few of links for the headspace guage. It looks as if the field gauge is out at both sites, check back they do get them in regularly. You would probably want the field gauge if you are going to get just one. phelenwolf,

if you reload, you can neck the 8mm brass up to .35 cal, then size until the bolt just closes. i keep brass dedicated to each rifle after doing this.
