Default Another Century-Old Mauser; Looks Great, Shoots Great!

My Argentine M1909 Carbine. All-matching serial numbers; I think the s/n A45XX puts it in the 1910-production era, built by Deutsche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken Berlin. Modified (1926), to replace the under-buttstock swivel with a buttstock left-side sling-bar, and add a bayonet lug to the nose-cap. Wood and metal are both excellent. Not much field experience for this veteran. Probably why still a decent shooter?

Darn nice!!!!!!! Had a C&R license for around 6 years......always wanted a 1909 Argentine rifle for my small collection of surplus rifles. Always had a high regard for them. But, never could find one in my price range back then.
