need to find a range around here with more than the tipical 100yrds...

thats about half of them benning...most are 95% full from .22rimfire to 37mm...when full..a stack of those things can get heavy quick..i'd hate to stack'em all in the same spot and hear something crashing through my floor at 3am.

elmer's glue does work wonders...

i remember buying a few 15years ago at roses (department store)for 49.00bucks and chinese sks's for 79.00...hell they even had FAL's for 350.00 at the same time...if i only could've looked into the future.

I have what looks like the same rifle, but mine is longer. Also doesn't have any markings on it and it's missing the bolt. So thanks for posting gave me an idea on what I may have. I inherited it from my dad it wasn't one he apparently thought to take care of. So it has been neglected quite badly.

I think you did well for $70, should be a fun shooter. Your ammo stock looks a little low, you might want to replenish it.

That must be an OLD picture, because he hasn't relocated ALL the labels to the front of the cans yet.

Try finding a particular batch of ammo when they are all stacked 3 or 4 high like that, and the labels are all on top.

I have a dedicated label maker now since I learned the hard way.

There are a few ways to fix the crack in your stock IF it really bothers you that much or if it worsens.

1)Take a syringe (with the needle) and use that to force glue into the cracks as deeply as possible and then clamp the piece for 24 hours.

2)You can also use a two part epoxy blend. Mix it to a water-like consistency, apply to crack, then use a hair dryer so that it sinks into the crack. Wipe away the excess and let dry.

You could ignore the crack but it's worth trying to prevent a complete break. Once that happens your stock is ruined.
