What gave it away were the buff marks .. Very difficult to remove but still a very nicely restored piece.

The crack in the frame will make it real hard to sell not worth $7,500.00 you may only get <$500.00 if that. The frame crack makes it a wall hanger or parts gun. I would mount it on a nice frame and hang it in my den. Just keep it. One more thing I saw one sold in better condition for $900.
