He found me a new barrel. It is a 1918. And he wants $150 for it. And he has a stock. I think I'm just going to get the barrel for now. Because I wanna start saving for a Mauser since there prices are through the roof now.

You aren't the only one, I'm planning to do the same thing whenever I get around to it, I've always held off because in reality it's a fine shooter as is.

ya mine is too but i dont shot it it just sits in the safe. But I realy like the idea of having a corect 1903 made in 1918

Ill do it. Money seems to be the only thing stoping this. lol Ive got other wants on the list too Im fixing to get a 17hmr need ti thin the crows down a bit

I got my new stock and barrel. Paid $250 for them. So I have $645 into my 03 springfield at the moment. The barrel is from 1918. If I had a better camera I would post pics of it.

Sure thing. I'm going to take it to a gun smith after the new year to put the barrel on. All I need is the hand guard and hardware. And I'm good to go.
