Default 1891 Argentine Mauser

I just picked up a 1891 Argentine at a gun show and was wondering if anyone knows of any resources on dating these guns by serial number? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Perfect! Thanks buddy, I couldn't find that info anywhere.

Its funny, I bought the Giant book "Mauser Military rifles of the World" by: Ball for like $60, and it has more pictures than useful information, oh well.

Well, don't keep us in suspense, what's it's date of manufacture?

Wow, That looks to be in very nice shape. I used to be into the old 8mm mousers especially with the '98 action. Got any pics of the cartouches or stampings??......markerdown
