winchester mod 54 stock (diy) new stock
 

i couldnt find a stock for my mod. 54 winchester as it was made in the 50,s sooooo i got hold of a mod 70 wood stock and got out my dremel and with just some minor grinding and sanding i now have a new stock with a cheek rest it fits together quite good and looks good too----- remember its better to have and not need than need and not have

If you would have come here and asked first we would have told you where to get one. Then you would not have to had ruined a good M70 stock in the process.

You really can't hurt a M 70 stock because
 

they are all rather club-like compared to a commercial FN or Husky. Even a 700 Classic is a lot better stock than a M 70.
