Default Tracer Bullet Wire

I was at a gun show recently and a guy I haven't seen before, I think he was a private seller, was selling this wire. It comes with a drill bit and a ziploc bag. Lol. He said you drill a hole in the back of the bullet .308 or larger, cut a piece of the wire off, place the wire inside the hole, put a little super glue on it, and tada tracer round. I should have bought it, because he was only selling it for ten dollars, but anyways has anyone ever heard of anything like this. I can't find anything on the web about it.

Sounds like he was trying to sell you some sparklers

Why do you feel it necessary to list your guns?

Yep. Now, just for a minute, ponder the potential accuracy of those if you drill the hole just a LEEETLE bit off center.

Hmm lets say its my trusty 06 with 150 gr. bullet and a 1 in 12" twist moving 2900 fps theoretically its rotating 2900 rps or 174000 rpm that LEEETLE bit off center would cause one heck of a wobble
