I have been redoing a early Stevens favorite 22 LR.
I found a nice octagon heavy barrel blank and had a nice 20" barrel cut and machined re chambered to 17 mach 2, Making new stock and forearm in burl maple.

In picture #4 does the barrel on the right have a barrel liner installed?

Nice Job!!

Man I love that stock. Looks like the bbl was sleeved? Tactical Solutions does it and they are great. I'd love to see this all put together. I'm in the middle of a Glenfield Mdl. 60 redo but it's nothing like this. Very nice work!

Looks like a family heirloom in the making, I can't even begin to say just how proud and amazed I would be to receive a piece of functional artwork like that in a generational hand-me-down!

I would love to see how the gun shoots, hell I'd love to shoot the gun. My grampa use to have something like that looked more like a remington rolling block in 22 long I got to shoot it once it was pretty nice but it ended up going to his brother in Colorado

Man that stock is beautiful.

This will be well worth keeping.

You would be disappointed, in all likelihood,

were you to try to sell it.

Don't forget the range report...;)

That wood turned out really good. I'd like to see pictures of the finished product. Keep up the good work.
