I basically agree with all of you. I just didn't wanna say anything. Wanted to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

Lol I don't mind being an a$$hole especially when it comes to claims of military service being that I'm a disabled combat vet. Also most military know that a 5.56 is actually a 22 caliber bullet it's just got a lot more powder pushing it. Hey maybe he is military but I'm skeptical of it.

Seriously though, a bolt action for the scenario? Limits it's use. HK MR308 would be my choice. Long and close distance combat rifle. High capacity, higher caliber, semi-auto is the way to go. There are cheaper AR 10s out there too. No need to build a Frankenstein Mall Ninja thingy.

LOL! Your idea of a SHTF gun has confused the military members. I was a little shocked myself. A combat experienced soldier would question your creds with your suggested setup. Stick to what you have trained with. Skip the weirdness. We are talking about your chances of survival (Yikes!), if your scenario ever came to fruition. Buy an AR platform. Uncle Sam gave you all that training. Use it!

Ok well I understand the grammar I figured that out from your name which is Vietnamese if I'm not mistaken. It's just I was in the army and a lot of what you say makes no sense. Like in your other posting about the savage you stated your going to security school is that an army school or a private civilian school? I take it your pretty young from the way you type so that to me means your an e-4 or below am I right. Unless your married your living in the barracks which means your weapon must be stored in the arms room and how can you afford a $1300 rifle plus scope and ammo which will cost at least $100 per box of 20 rounds on that rate of pay.

The first sentence didn't come out right I meant I figured English was your second language from your name and grammar I wasn't concerned with that.
