Default sight replacement

How hard is it to replace the front sight on m&p ?? Looks fairly easy ???
The dot in front sight flew out at the range... I have a new front sight to replace it ... Thanks in advance !!!!

Don't think it's hard at all. The front sight on an m&p is dovetailed so you would need a specialized sight pusher tool or a universal tool. Or you go with the ol tried and true punch and hammer. I'm actually waiting on a uni sight pusher tool myself. Replacing factory sights with truglo tfo. Good luck

The XD sights Kimbers are nightmares!!!!!

You might want to double check this, but the M&P sight comes
off from left to right and back on from right to left. Most dovetail
sights come off and back on in a certain direction. If you use a
hammer and punch, you should use a delrin, brass or aluminum
punch and be very careful no to damage the slide finish. Painter's
tape (blue) on the slide will help protect the finish.
