Default Shotgun stock repair

My buddy George broke this stock. At the rear of the stock, 1 1/4" broke off along the grain so this looked like a short stock. I searched for a piece of matching walnut. Glued and doweled it. Shaped and sanded and sealed it. Got it pretty close to factory.

You did a very nice job. I had to look for the repair. If I wasn't looking for it, I wouldn't have noticed it unless it was close up.

Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”Samuel Adams
