Thanks Nitrox - Yes, Dano50 forwarded the test thread on to his main contact with Fluid Film. Haven't heard from them which is disappointing considering this costs them nothing, but they could make a huge splash by popping by and making some comments. *shrug*

I was going to pull the blades this weekend and get some shots, but the weather was horrible and I was afraid I was going out on storm repairs, so I laid low.

Perhaps some new photos in the next couple of days. Sat. the 12th was 6 weeks in the buckets, so I am curious to see how they are doing now. My goal was to go 60 days, but at the rate of decay, it may be pretty easy to identify a winner with this next reveal....

EXCELLENT test JD! That tells me everything I need to know. It looks like I'll be placing an order with Dano in the very near future.

I just found out that the John Deere dealer down the street has it, so I'm in good shape.

Thanks again

Default Rust

Here in Colorado in the 'High Desert' we do not get a lot of rain or high humidity. Most of our rain fall is in the form of snow in the winter months. So we do not have a real big problem with rust. Back in Missouri where I was raised it was just the opposite. Metal left out unprotected could rust over night.

Once again JD proves why FTF is the best! Great test JD, maybe Fluid Film will send you a shirt that says.."call someone who cares" or something, but I think you did awesome.

So here are the latest. 52 days in salt water. The plan was to let them go a full 60, and while they are still soaking, I am going to go with majority rule. You guys want to another week? 4 weeks? What are your thoughts?

First up, the Control Knife with ZERO protection. Looks Bad.
