Default RIA aftermarket beavertail? PLEASE HELP!

I have a rock island 1911 all standard GI. But with a 4 inch barrel. Trying to change the stock grip safety to beavertail. Goes in and fits fine but when im not holding it down and pull the trigger it "fires". Can someone please help me solve this problem!?

Okay, let's take a look at how the grip safety is working with the trigger.
Remove the port (left) side grip.
With the trigger, grip safety (GS), thumb safety, sear spring and main spring housing (MSH) installed, check if the grip safety tang stops the trigger from moving aft when the grip safety is not activated.
Now how do we fix it? If the GS tang goes to the correct position, the tang could be too short. If the tang cannot get into the correct position, the tang may be too long or the contact position of the MSH and GS does not allow the GS to position correctly.
