remington 770 camo job
Hey guys and gals,
this is my first time breaking out the rattle cans on the rifle. I've been wanting to do it for awhile now, but not have had the time. It didn't come out as well as I had pictured in my minds eye but here it is. Hope you can dig it.

Not bad at all, looks a lot better than the factory job.

Thanks guys! I finished it off with a matte clear coat by krylon. That really made it a nice look and feel. Going out to the desert this Sunday to see how it holds up.

I did a stock job, I just couldn't bring myself to painting the rifle and scope. I have a cheap 3-12x Tasco though that I am going to sacrifice to the paint cans.

there's no right or wrong way to do a camo paint job IMO. i bought some decorative grass mess at a craft store and used it to do the camo job on my remington 700P.

762 is correct. there are really no right or wrong ways of doing camo. it's easy to touch up if it gets scratched.
i did this camo paint job on the bottom of my truck about three years ago. been through hell and it's still looing good. preparation is the key.
