Reloading AR15 ammo

I know there are differences between the 5.56 and .223 cartridges. But as a newbie to reloading (and this forum), I am not sure how these differences apply to reloading the cartridge. Will one bullet fit either of the cases? Are different size primers and dies required? Thanks!

Bullets and primers are the same, and most use 223 dies for both types. Some will suggest using small base dies for semi-auto weapons, but I've used standard 223 dies for many years without any problems for bolt guns and semi-autos.

Thanks for the help!
