With my GLOCK all I use is nail polish too.

You did a gud job but honestly i wish the only markings on any gun was maker,caliber & serial number (wish there was no serial number needed)

Clideray44, what did you use to color in the lettering? I used nail polish ans nail polish remover rubbed lightly after the polish dried worked for me.

I used white nail polish and got most of it off with nail polish remover, I just can't get the small white haze off

Knife will do it just be steady and light to the touch. CLP will help over night if you want to restart

How are you applying the model paint ? I've heard a toothpick...and nail polish remover for mistakes but was worried it could get messy or harsh chemical - permanent...

Sharpie - now that's creative and I like the idea of just wiping it off - assuming it comes off. How many layers does it take ?

Crayon - OK - that's outside the box (no pun intended) - how do you apply it ? Crush it in n wipe or brush out excess ? How long does it last ?

Wish I had a junker to practice on so if I screw it up I could just laugh about it. How do you prep the surface - wipe it down w rubbing alcohol ? Does any of the above need to be sealed w a clear (nail polish etc.) finish ?
