Old boot pocket holster

I like to pocket carry but with jeans on and my cheap Blackhawk pocket holster sucked showed way to much. Might as well have stuck my little smith in my pocket without anything around it. Well I got the idea to cut up an old pair of work boots that the soles were coming off of. It seems to fit my pocket pretty good, it's not printing bad at all. And best of all I reused a very comfortable pair of boot that had some really nice soft leather. Hope u like. Merry Christmas and god bless

Even recycled the laces! Dammit man! You were green before Kermit made it cool, weren't you?

I like, good job!

Laced it up with the boot lace

Do you think a guy could do similar, but make it into an open carry holster instead? Im thinking id make the upper piece (pictured behind he grip) a bit longer, and cutting holes for belt loops in it. I was also thinking of closing off the end and maybe doubling up the back (added comfort hopefully)

Often it is better to use quite stiff leather for a belt holster.

Yea the boot leather was really broke in and soft I'm with hiwall might want to find something stiff to use owb.
