I decided to try Lauer Weaponry's new Shake 'N Spray DuraCoat finish on my Savage 300 Win Mag.

All-in-all, for a product that only sells for $29.95, I am pretty happy with it. It took me about 20 minutes to paint the stock, compared to much longer for their kits that come with a little spray gun, which don't work very well, at least for me.
I wish I had chosen a "flat" finish as opposed to the semi-gloss shiny finish, but that was MY mistake and not Lauer's fault by any means.
I would recommend this product if you want to change the color of a synthetic stock on the cheap. It seems tough, like it will last a while. But I can't speak as to how it would perform on any of the metal finishes.
