Default Need help, stripped a screw.

Im trying to put a wilson combat trigger in my 1911, some how I stripped the top part of a screw holding the grips on. Now I dont know how to get this screw out

"stripped the top part of a screw" isn't useful information.

Is the top part of the threads stripped? Or is it the head of the screw that is damaged?

If it is the head we'll need pics. Most likely you'll need to be good with a drill. Even then you are probably going to damage your grips...

Is your screwdriver sharp? It needs to be.

I hate to sound rude, but if it is the head; you should seriously think about having a gunsmith take it out for you... then buy new quality screwdrivers.

If it is the threads, try getting a thin knife or similar, between the screw head and the grips; then unscrew the screw with upward pressure on the knife.
