Default Muzzle Break

Okay so i live in New York so i cant have threaded barrels but i want a muzzle break. I am a CAD designer so i could design and build my own muzzle break and is what i plan on doing. my question is once i make my muzzle break, what would be the best way to attach it to my muzzle? this will be on a savage model 11 btw. thanks in advanced

Possibly pin it in place with a pair of cross pins, or silver solder it.

badger ordnance makes this one, i like it. says "front towards enemy"

then there's a few that look like this.

the ones that are out there are generally for rifles with heavy or varmint barrels, so making it will most likely be your best bet

I would turn a short section of barrel so the sides are parallel, unless you can buy a brake that will fit the barrel taper. I would use a set screw or clamping action like the ones shown.
