Default M1A Rebuild

I'm starting to do my homework and research in preparation to rebuild my M1A. I shoot in service rifle matches out to 600 yards, so accuracy's a must. I'm planning on beding the stock and getting match sights, but I also need a new barrel. That's where my questions arise: I've seen 1:10, 1:11, and 1:12 twist barrels available. I'll be shooting heavier projectiles, probably 168 or 175 grain. So I'm wondering which would be the appropriate twist for that? Also I'd like to keep the rifle looking like an M-14, so I don't want a SS barrel, a medium or heavy contour would be fine. Just wondering what your thoughts are as far as brands.... has anybody had success with a particular barrel, really like it? I'd appreciate any input, thanks.
