Default I Like!

I like the idea of not having to use wood supports. May have to make a few of these!! Thanks for all of the ideas.

It depends on how good a shot you are. The wood supports are "sacrificial" in case a flyer hits it. Cheaper and easier to replace the wood than PVC.

Default True...

I am not worried about my shooting....BUT that is why I put the wood up to our local range.

I made 5 of these for the Texas Meet-N-Greet and it only took about a ½ hour to complete.

Picture one is the target stand broken down.

Picture two is the stand assembled.

Picture three is a close up of how the cardboard is held on the PVC.

Forgot to add that the vertical cut on the uprights that holds the cardboard was made with a skill saw. I just set the blade at about 1/2 inch and clamped the upright in my portable worktable and ran one cut.
Love your design. Will have to copy it soon.

Anyway they are cheap, stable and we really like them. The only change I made was to put a "T" in the front corners in place of the 90 degree elbows. This alows cleaning out drit etc and allows rain h2o to drain out.

I will post pictures next week after range session.
I built one using this design. Easy greasy and cheap. I did use the wood inserts incase I want to pop it out to 100-200yrds.

Old thread but I used the template to make a couple stands today. Better give credit where it's due:

I built 4 of these. They r wide enough for card board targets and the chicken wire lets me use paper targets
