Default Herters Belgian blue doesnt go bad

I just had to try out this old bottle. Its about full and just as potent as ever. (check out the price on the label)

I gave it a good shake and boiled the part and applied 6 applications (boiling each time) to the trigger guard of this old Stevens.

I should buy some Arts from Midway.

Nice demo there. The price of 5 shillings would suggest a age going back to 1971 or earlier. I was in England in '71 when the change away from shillings and old pence was underway.
