We have used a water trap for the last 30 years. It has worked very well. Once it is properly adjusted for your needs it will catch even small fragments. The salvaged bullets are clean and ready for separation of the alloys.

i love the angled deflector with sand or water below it. Great for Paper Targets.
I'll throw something like that together for the paper.

But. ..I have several full size silhouettes and 12" Disks, I was hoping to catch the spray from these vertically mounted steels.

The vertical plates work also when placed in front of the main shield. We use "Hinged" plates that swing rearward when hit.
