Finally found a gun cleaning fluid my wife does not mind me using in the house!
I love the smell of Hoppes #9, but the wife hates it, so I tried Pro-Shot Products 1 Step Gun Cleaner & Lubricant, bought from my LGS. Wife had no complaints during the cleaning process, but afterwards I need to remember to take the soaked newspaper and rags outside to the trashcan.

I like to get my ccw really, really dirty before a through cleaning. I like to see how dirty she will get before a stovepipe our any other malfunction. Before I get a bunch of crap I use this methoed ulternetly with each gun. See I carry two one clean as a whistle the other well you know. When I was in the service they stressed cleaning our weapons it just not my life its my buddies life as well. Plus with all the dust and carbon buildup they need it. Although to much oil actually attracts dust etc. When I do clean I really just wipe down with a lightly oilrag. Run a bore brush. Dab of oil on were spots etc. Then I use a can of dust off and spray the inside just to get dust and what not.I only do this ounce in a while. Its really just a preference thing I quess.I also read a guy a few posts up never cleans his firearms I knew a guy like who never changed his oil in car swore you didn't have too its a ploy buy the oil company to buy more oil.Till he called me in the middle of the night for a ride because his car seized up.Oh well sorry about not using paragraphs new phone haven't. Fiqured out how yet. Lol

An old gunsmith friend said , "It is darn neaw impossible for one man to clean up what gets brought in the week before deer season. I use a good solvent ,put on my shop apron, and goggles. Then I use the air fron the compressor to push it where I can't reach. I set it aside and let it dry then I relube. The gun works, the customer is happy, and I get paid.

Hmmm, maybe if you're doing it only ONCE to each gun. I prefer to just prevent it from EVER happening. I do not shoot the gun unless I clean it after the same day.

Get your guns ready
From what I'm reading today it sounds like we better start getting ready to fight. Dhs has amassed 1.6 million rds of ammo everybody knows that by now, but did you know they have also ordered 2700 armored vehicles & tanks. The Tenn Militia apparently stopped several of these vehicles that were manned by Russian troops wearing DHS uniforms.

I clean my guns each time I return from the range. I also oil the guns in my safe regularly. I also give them massages and a good night kiss.
