Default First two knife sheaths

A buddy that I ride to work with that I've made a bunch of belts and gun slings for showed me a deer antler knife his dad found in the woods it needed cleaned up and a sheath so I told him to let me borrow it for a little while and this is what I came up with. The full length case is the very first one I've ever made but I didn't like the way it turned out so I figured I'd make another. I'm very happy with the second. Thanks for looking.

How do you get the carving designs in the leather ,or is it pressed in?

Great work.
