and since my lines didn't come out as clean as i wanted so i took your advice buddy and bought some blue painters tape today. it came with a sample of 3mm bathroom hooks so the wife was happy she got something out of the deal. not tryin to stray off topic too much but how do you guys justify the amounts of money it takes to buy quality firearms to the wife? i been doing ok so far but the next ones on my list are gettin pretty pricey and she is startin to want to spend just as much on useless crap. how do you explain that $600 bucks on an ar is money well spent and 600 dollars of doilies and tablecloths and fancy picture frames and all that other glittery shiny crap women like that doesn't do much for you if **** ever hits the fan. thanks guys.

whew am i tired. worked from 530 am to 3 pm and came home and started workin on my rifle took me about 4 hours to tape it up gonna put on the next color tomorrow

coat #2 now i still gotta put on the coat of black and then i'm gonna put spots of all 3 colors where i feel they're needed to blend it all together.

it is turning out to be very much work i figure its gonna take me about 2 more weeks until completely done i think its gonna be worth it though its looking pretty good so far. i'm very anxious to see the it finished too. i still gotta do a coat of black and then blend it all together with some small patterns in all 3 colors and we have some rain coming up so i wont be able to paint when i want to. I'm tryin to keep myself busy until my irs money comes then i get a few new toys including my first AR! gonna tape for the next coat tomorrow but its supposed to rain so i'm not sure when ill be able to post the next pic. i'll keep you guys posted

i finally put the black on today. im gonna et it dry a little while longer and then i'm taking the tape off and showin you guys what i got so far stay tuned folks
